Transport for Art Basel is booked around the week, not a single day. A collector or VIP takes a held car that waits between the fair, the galleries and a hotel; a gallery or hospitality group travels together in a Sprinter or coach. The island’s hotels and cars fill on the same December days, so earlier notice holds the vehicle you want, and dispatch is staffed around the clock.
Getting around Art Basel is a South Beach problem more than a distance one: the fair fills the Miami Beach Convention Center in the middle of the island, and the whole of Miami Art Week spreads satellite fairs, museum openings and parties from the beach to the mainland at once. For a collector or a VIP working several stops in a day, a held car that waits between the convention center, a Design District gallery and a hotel is worth far more than a string of separate rides across a crowded island. The convention center itself is ringed by hotels, so the everyday move is a short causeway-side shuttle rather than a long drive, repeated across the fair’s days. A gallery team travels together in one Sprinter with room for materials, and the causeways — the MacArthur and the Julia Tuttle — set the timing for anything on or off the island, which is what the chauffeur plans around. For guests flying in for the week, the run comes straight from Miami International over the bridge to the hotel or the fair.
From a South Beach hotel, a residence or the airport, timed to the fair’s hours or a private preview.
A short causeway-side run to the Miami Beach Convention Center, dropped at the entrance.
Held between the fair, a Design District gallery and a hotel, with a grace period for a preview that runs long.
Collected after the fair or a late party, over the causeway to the hotel without a scramble for a ride.

Aura Palm Limo provides chauffeured transportation for Art Basel Miami Beach — the international contemporary art fair held each December at the Miami Beach Convention Center in South Beach, the anchor of Miami Art Week. Aura Palm is not affiliated with the fair; what it provides is the travel around it — a collector or VIP carried from a South Beach hotel to the convention center, a gallery team moved together, and guests brought in from the airport across the causeways. The nearest airport is Miami International (MIA), and dispatch answers 24/7 at +1 (786) 574-3081, serving Miami Beach and the surrounding Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Art Basel Miami Beach is not a single afternoon but the anchor of Miami Art Week, and the travel reflects that. The fair fills the Miami Beach Convention Center for a few December days, while satellite fairs, museum openings and parties spread from South Beach to the Design District and Wynwood on the mainland. For a collector or a VIP that means a day of stops across an island and a bridge, which is exactly where a booked, held car beats improvising a ride each time — it waits between the fair, a gallery and a hotel and keeps the schedule and the discretion across the week.
Because the convention center sits on a barrier island, every trip on or off it crosses the MacArthur or the Julia Tuttle causeway, and Art Basel week is when both fill. A group is better carried in one Sprinter or coach than strung across cars that lose each other in the traffic, and a chauffeur who plans the crossing and the South Beach grid keeps a collector or a hospitality party moving while others queue. The convention center is ringed by hotels, so much of the work is a short, repeated causeway-side shuttle rather than a long drive.
Art Basel draws collectors and galleries from around the world, so much of the travel begins at the airport. Miami International is the nearest gateway, across the causeway from South Beach, and a flight-tracked pickup carries a guest from the terminal to the hotel or the fair on the actual landing. Across the week the same booking runs the daily stops and the departures at the end. Dispatch is staffed around the clock.
